You will need to first read the Independent Contractors Agreement and agree to the terms. After you agree to the terms, you will be prompted to complete the online application.

Q:  How will I get paid? 

We pay every month on the 30th for shops completed the prior month. (example: If you do a shop on March 17th, you will be paid on April 30th)  We currently pay by mailed check. 

Q:  I don't want to apply if you don't have work in my area.  How can I find out if you have work in my area.

You should apply no matter where you live. We have assignments available nationwide.

Q: How do I know if my application has been approved?

Once you are approved and in the system, you will be put on rotation for shops that may be available in your area. 

Q:  How do I receive notifications of assignments? 

We email shoppers when there is something available in their area.

Q:  If I am accepted, will I become an employee of Undercover Consultants, LLC?

No.  All of our shoppers are independent contractors, who are responsible for their own tax records.  We do provide a 1099 to shoppers if their earnings exceed $600.00 per calendar year.

Q:  What happens if I sign up for an assignment and cannot complete it?

If a shopper does not complete an assignment they have signed up to do, we will not be able to use them for future shops.

Q:  What is your definition of a good shopper?

A good shopper is one that reports timely and has quality report content, including a detailed summary of their observations and few grammatical errors.
